POWERS
WEAKNESSES
While in her physical form, Stellaris still has the properties of a normal human: organs, muscles, blood. In this form, she can be harmed by anything that is not counted as a natural energy blast (i.e., a bullet or a knife). Though she can change into her stellar energy form at any time, if she is caught off-guard, she could be in trouble. In this form she is also vulnerable to mental telepathic attacks that target her from within her own mind, unless they are physical psychic attacks that can be absorbed as psychic energy.
Physically, Stellaris is no expert in hand-to-hand combat, nor does she have any superhuman physical strength when not absorbing powerful energy. Her main strength relies on her energy projection or avoiding damage entirely while in her intangible energy form.
If overloaded from absorbing too much energy that she cannot contain, Stellaris may begin to emit destructive stellar waves that are more dangerous than her controlled waves. She fears the extent of destruction she may be possible of causing in a worst case scenario, theorizing that absorbing an extreme amount of energy that she cannot contain may result in an explosive stellar wave akin to the implosion of a star, possibly leading to a blackhole. It is this fear that leads her to avoid being on the frontlines of battle unless absolutely necessary - much preferring to be a team's tactician or undertaking non-violent missions entirely.
Stellaris cannot stay in her stellar energy form for too long, for it is not a form that is meant to be comprehended by the human mind. The longer she is forced to remain one with the universal energy force, the more she risks losing her mind and never coming back the same - or at all.
Lastly, Stellaris' attachment to her family could be seen as a weakness, if used against her.

BIOGRAPHY
Before Her Powers
Born as a seemingly regular human, to regular parents, Elizaveta is the twin sister of telekinetic mutant Viktor Nemirov. She and her family were under the impression that somehow she had not acquired the mutant genes her brother had - when in reality her powers were merely dormant and undiscovered until much later in Elizaveta's life. Regardless, although the twins often bickered and competed against each other in sibling rivalry, they were inseparable. When Viktor declared he was planning to become an astronaut via means of the Russian Air Force, naturally, Elizaveta declared she would follow him down the same path, except she would apply through her own strength, by studying at university for it. The siblings often joked about betting on who would become an astronaut first... Without knowing that Viktor, in fact, would never reach that end goal.
As Viktor left school early to join the Air Force as a military cadet, Elizaveta graduated high school early due to her abnormally high IQ, and saw to it that she would be accepted by scholarship to the most prestigious Russian university available: MSU. However, what Elizaveta didn't know was that the government had other plans for Viktor when they accepted him into the military. For how could a mutant serve just the same alongside humans? No, his... abilities could be put to far better use, they had decided, and they signed him up with a private military contractor named Ivan Zotov who was running a secret facility for weaponized mutants called Operation Osiris. Parallel to Elizaveta studying at university, Viktor was simultaneously being trained to use his own powers in increasingly destructive ways - Ivan was turning him into a weapon. Ivan had discovered that what had previously thought to be telekinetic powers was instead the ability to manipulate gravity itself in varying forms - exponentially increasing Viktor's possible uses. However, Viktor was growing disobedient and had begun questioning the authority of his superiors, especially when they asked him to undertake morally compromising tasks. One day, when Viktor refused an order to kill, it was the last straw. They brought him in for... 'body modifications' - namely, they inserted an implant into his brain that enabled them to trigger his destructive gravitational abilities whenever they wanted. They no longer needed Viktor to be compliant, or agreeable; they merely needed him caged, containted, and able to be transported like a portable and reusable miniature nuke. They renamed him as their weapon: Vector.
Viktor had sparse contact with Elizaveta and their parents during this time, which they found unusual. When contact completely stopped, Elizaveta knew something was wrong - but when they tried to inquire about him at the Air Force, they received no information. Finding it an inconvenience to have his family sniffing around, the government feigned Viktor's death and broke the news to the Nemirovs. Elizaveta was readying to graduate from her final year at university when she heard. She nearly couldn't believe it, in fact... Her instincts told her not to, but her rational mind told her that it might just be her emotions disabling her from letting go. Nonetheless, she only grew more determined to become an astronaut, as if it would somehow count for her and for Viktor both. She knew it was nonsensical sentimentality, but it pulled her through.
Elizaveta surpassed expectations as she completed her extraneous studies at university within merely a couple of years, acquiring Honours in physics, mathematics and computer science, and a PhD in engineering. Her outstanding results led her to being hired as an Aerospace Engineer at Roscosmos, from which she then applied to their astronaut program three years later. Secretly, all this time, Elizaveta had been investigating the death of her brother - and was coming dangerously close to finding out the truth. Ivan and the Russian government did not like that.
Discovering Her Powers
It was Elizaveta's fourth ISS mission, when their space shuttle received a transmission to inspect a nearby defunct shuttle. Only... When they neared the defunct shuttle, they discovered it had been rigged. The explosion annihilated both shuttles within a second, disintegrating everyone on board - including Elizaveta.
She should have been killed. Yet... Somehow, she found her consciousness still existed, though her body did not. She could think, she could perceive the space around her. Space. The stars. The cosmos. She was one with them. She was something else, yet she was the same. It was a lot to take in the first time. Too much. It almost drove her insane.
She discovered she could move in this ethereal energy form at alarming speeds. Of course, she used it to travel back to Earth. Back to her home.
Her family were receiving the news that she had died when she arrived in her energy form, and she discovered they could not see her. Suddenly, she realized the sort of danger it would put her parents in if she were to reveal herself. If the government were prepared to kill not only her for discovering their secret, but the five other innocent people on the shuttle alongside her... What's to stop them from killing her mother and father if they found out the same?
No. Elizaveta would not have it. As painful as it was, she had to let them believe she was dead. At least they would stay alive this way.
From this day onward, Elizaveta renamed herself as Stellaris, and vowed to uncover the secret military operation known as Osiris, and to rescue her brother, so that they may reunite with their parents without fear.
